Frequently Asked Questions
-
We have a seasonal menu which means our menu changes frequently. We work closely with local producers and suppliers to get the freshest produce for the restaurant. We offer between 12-14 items a la carte, and encourage sharing.
On Friday and Saturday evenings we only offer a set menu at $110 per person. All other times you may choose a la carte or the set menu. Groups of 6 or more people - must be on the set menu.
-
We are a small venue and with a small kitchen - we try our best to accommodate dietary requirements, but we cannot always cater to all dietary and allergy requirements.
Dietaries must be specified when making a reservation.
Unfortunately we do not provide a set menu for vegan, dairy free or FODMAP (Friday and Saturday evening + groups of 6 or more).
If we do not receive notice of dietary requirements 24 hours prior to the reservation, we cannot guarantee that the dietary requirement can be catered for. -
The majority of our restaurant is high tables with backless high stools. We have 3 low tables, if you would like to make sure you get a low table - please make a reservation in advance and select ‘low table’ when booking.
-
As a small restaurant, last minute cancellations can have a big impact on our business. If you do not show up for your reservation or if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, and we are unable to fill your spot, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $65 per person, or $100 per person on Friday and Saturday evenings.
-
We take credit card details when making a booking through the table booking app to hold your reservation spot. We DO NOT charge your card any holding fees or deposit. This is as a security measure for us in case there is a cancellation or no show.
-
We do not have a restaurant car park. There is usually plenty of street parking available nearby - most guests find it easy to find a spot.
-
Yes, we do have wheelchair access. Guests with wheelchairs must select the low tables. Please make a note that you require wheelchair access when making a reservation so our staff can be notified ahead of time. Our toilet is wheelchair accessible.
-
We do not offer our space for functions or reservations with more than 7 guests.
If you have any questions that have not been answered by the information above, please email us with your enquiry. We will get back to you as soon as possible. -

We recommend allowing 1.5-2hrs to enjoy your meal. We don’t rush service - you’re welcome to settle in and take your time while enjoying good food and wine. We have a reservation duration of 2.25 hours for dinner bookings and 2.5 hours for lunch bookings. That’s usually more than enough for all our guests to enjoy their time at Ogee.
-
We also have a guesthouse located next door. Many guests (local and travellers) choose to stay after dinner to enjoy the entire Ogee experience. You can find more details here.
We recommend booking the guesthouse and restaurant in advance to avoid missing out.
